A walk-through for verification with SumSub
Once you click on 'Start' under Account Verification, you will be directed to SumSub verification process.
Agree to process your personal data (more info can be found here) and click 'Next'. If you are a sole proprietor, then skip to step 4.
Step 3 (KYB = Know Your Business)
Start by inputting the legal entity name of your business and registration number. Next, you will
need to upload documents that confirm your company's legal existence. Recommended documents that you can submit are: Articles of incorporation or Certificate of incorporation, Schedule 50 of T2 Corporate Tax Return, Shareholder Register, or Director Register T1235 for Charities.
After the correct documents are submitted, you will have to input information for beneficial owners (any individual who owns or controls 25% or more of the business or ogranization), that can also verify with an upload of a photo ID in the next step. If a beneficial owner isn't avalible currently to verify you may send the link to verify via email or with the link below the 'Start verification now' button.
Step 4 (KYC = Know Your Customer)
Select the type of document that you would like to verify with.
Fields to upload the front and back of the document will appear below, as well as a button to continue this process on your phone. By continuing on your phone you can scan the QR code or send the link to yourself, allowing you to use your mobile device camera instead of uploading already taken photos. After uploading te respective photo IDs, please check the information below to make sure everything is correct.
Once pictures of your ID are uploaded click 'Next' to submit the verification to Sumsub to process. This may take 2-3 minutes. You will also receive an e-mail from us once completed. If you are not already redirected back to the Dashboard you may click the "Back" button to return to our Dashboard. For any issues, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
