What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your EukaPay account. When enabled, a verification code will be required each time someone logs into your account to confirm they are the account holder. This ensures that even if someone has your password, they cannot access your account without the second verification method.
How to Enable 2FA
Step 1: Navigate to Security Settings
- Log in to your EukaPay account
- Go to Settings
- Click on Personal
- Select Security
Step 2: Choose Your Verification Method
You can enable 2FA using one or more of the following methods:
1. Email Verification
- Your verified email address will be displayed (e.g., s******@eukapay.com)
- Click the Enable button next to your email address
- You'll receive a verification code via email each time you log in
2. Phone Number Verification
- Your verified phone number will be displayed (e.g., +14********0)
- Click Enable to activate SMS verification
- You'll receive a verification code via text message when logging in
- To change your phone number, click Remove and add a new one
3. Authenticator App
- Use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator
- Click Enable or Set up next to Authenticator Key
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app to verify
- Your authenticator will generate time-based codes for login verification
